The GUAXS Mumbai L Clear Oak is a sculptural object in which hand-blown glass and natural wood come together in a refined and timeless composition. The clear glass structure combined with the warm oak base creates a subtle interplay between light, transparency, and material.

The glass is handcrafted and exhibits subtle variations in texture and clarity. The wooden base adds a natural tranquility and reinforces the balance between purity and character.

Thanks to its generous proportions and balanced shape, this lantern comes into its own perfectly as an atmospheric object within the interior, both standing alone and in combination with other pieces from the collection.

Use & maintenance

We advise following the guidelines below for the preservation of the object:

• Use only one candle with a single wick and place it in the center so that the glass does not get too hot. If you want to have multiple candles, LED candles can be an alternative.
• Do not let the candle burn out completely; the elevated temperature at the bottom can cause cracks in the glass.
• Always rinse the glass with lukewarm water and exclusively by hand.
• Use only commercially available dishwashing liquid for all glass surfaces.
• If the glass surface is smooth, you can wipe the object with a fine cloth and a little petroleum jelly after drying to preserve the shine.
• If the surface is rough, you can use the rough side of the sponge while rinsing to maintain the rough character.
• Important: avoid large temperature differences — do not rinse with hot water and do not use cold water immediately after use.
• Avoid bumping the object, for example against the sink or other objects; this can cause cracks over time.
• Wood is a natural material that has been lacquered, oiled, or waxed. As a result, the color may differ slightly from the photo.
• Use a cloth dampened with water only to clean the wooden base and do not use abrasive sponges.
